The seedlings were transported to the site in a special trailer, designed to minimise wind damage and evaporation during transit.

Each person carries 40 seedlings on each hip, and uses a Poteputke tube planter. The spacing between each seedling is 3 metres, and is measured by 3 good steps between plants (and checked using the plastic tubing shown on the right). The 25000 seedlings were planted by a team of 3-4 people in about 4 days.
