The seedlings were planted by John Woodley and his crew, under the general supervision of Woollybutt. The picture below shows Clinton Tepper (2nd from left) giving final instructions to John Woodley (at left) and the rest of the crew.

The seedlings were transported to the site in a special trailer, designed to minimise wind damage and evaporation during transit.

Each person carries 40 seedlings on each hip, and uses a Poteputke tube planter. The spacing between each seedling is 3 metres, and is measured by 3 good steps between plants (and checked using the plastic tubing shown on the right). The 25000 seedlings were planted by a team of 3-4 people in about 4 days.
