Green & Gold sponsors Master Tree Growers workshops
Green & Gold Tree Farms (under its previous name of TUTI Tree Farms) was a sponsor for the Master Tree Growers workshops held in the Alexandra region during 2005. This workshop series, based at the Taggerty Hall but with many field visits to a variety of tree farms in the region, aimed to outline, for new and experienced tree farmers, how to grow trees for profit and environmental returns.
Green & Gold acquires new property
Green & Gold Tree Farms has recently (October 2007) acquired a new property for the development of a tree farm in Kanumbra (north of the town of Yarck). This property will be developed as a sawlog plantation, but with the possibility of a much greater emphasis on the development of bioenergy plantings.
