The Kanumbra Plantation is located on a 160 hactare property just north of the town of Yarck in North-East Victoria. The property is a mixture of undulating valley rising to steep hill country. Approximately 50 hectares of this property are suitable for plantation trees. The balance of the property will be protected for native revegetation regrowth, especially on the hills where mature stands of white box are already in existance. The creekline, which has many large river red gums with significant natural regrowth, will also be protected. The Kanambra Plantation is scheduled for planting for sawlog trees and bioenergy plantings in mid-2008.
